Start checking off your Spring Cleaning list early. Below are a few suggestions for anyone looking to refresh their home without breaking the bank. 

Clean up the entrance. Get some colourful new planters and plants, a fresh door mat, sweep the path and landing – don't forget those cob webs out from the high corners.  

Revamp your décor. Change up photo displays with new frames, photos or placements. Think about getting some new ones printed. Order some new pillow covers, and find some new indoor plants to liven up the interior. 

Launder your cozy materials. Wash those area rugs, curtains, throw blankets and vacuum the sofas to rid of any odors that might be lingering. Keep the house smelling fresh by finding a new candle or oil for the diffuser. 

Check your window sills and screens. Debris, bugs, and dust hide and build up in those window sills and once the weather warms up, letting the fresh air breeze through the house feels good. Take a tooth brush, warm soapy water and garbage bin to clean those sills up. Get the nitty gritty out of the way so you can enjoy the warm weather when it comes.

Brighten it up. Fresh paint goes a long way when you want to change the feel of your home. Say goodbye to the original brown paint and try white and greys.
